Periwinkle Skies...2001
Periwinkle skies of blue*
I used to miss the one I loved*
I used to respect and honor you*
I have moved on*
From childish dreams*
There is no wrong*
Or right, it seems*
Showered with profanities*
I've lost my will to fight*
I suppose you stole my spirit*
Like a burglar in the night*
Damned for my iniquities*
Ignored, but for your lust and need*
You're drowning in your own self-pity*
And your own uncertainties*
Periwinkle skies of blue*
Are my escape from the pain of you*
I used to want to please you*
I used to feel your pain*
I used to want to work things out*
Then you hushed me up again*
Showered with profanities*
I've lost my will to fight*
I suppose that you stole away my spirit*
Like a burglar in the night*
Periwinkle skies of blue*
Are my escape from the pain of you...
