It's Just The Rain

She's walking again in the rain all alone
With no one to turn to, nobody's home
Just another drop splashing on her face
Watching the puddles and her fall from grace

She knows that she should just go inside
But who would be there when she cried
Just keep on going she tells herself
There's only you and no one else

Rain beating down on this old city street
Is it thunder pounding or her heartbeat
She has nowhere to go but still she goes there
If she dies this night she just doesn't care

Winds whip her hair stealing her sight
And she knows this time she won't be alright
She lost it all and she's going insane
Funny how rain turns into tears filled with pain
