Again In The Clouds

She is dreaming
Yet wide awake
Thinking of him
Once more today
Again in the clouds
She is adrift
Dancing on air
In romantic bliss

She didn't know love
Could make her fly
Watching the birds
As they pass her by
She feels so free
Carries no weight
As she rises above
The spite and hate

Teasing the flowers
With her soft touch
Stopping long enough
To pick him a bunch
Rustling the leaves
On the boughs of the trees
Smiling away as
She rides on the breeze

She'll tip~toe upon
The soft waters crest
Tease the butterflies
Stopping to rest
Her hair fanned out
For all to see
Look for her again in the clouds....
For there she will be
