This was written for my two closest friends,
literally and figuratively speaking.
A Pastor who I loved very much and had cherished
because he helped me through the most difficult time in my life,
the death of my beloved husband
..... died suddenly.........
And I literally lost it for a while,
but these two friends were there for me;
So this is for Fay and Cheri.......
YOU ARE SO VERY GOOD TO ME
JUST LIKE A BEST FRIEND OUGHT TO BE
YOU LET ME CRY WHEN I'VE LOST A FRIEND
YOU DON'T SAY, "IT'LL BE OK, IN THE END".
YOU LET ME GRIEVE, FOR GRIEVE I MUST
BUT YOU STAY RIGHT THERE, AND I CAN TRUST
THAT YOU'LL STAND BY ME THROUGH THICK AND THIN
IT'S A PRIVILEGE TO KNOW YOU
