CONTROL

~THE SIG BOX~

Controlling my mind, that is truly a gift!
Utilizing it makes me who I am, and not.
Tears I shed can be rinsed away,
But sorrow some times I cannot.

Cleansing is not complete by water alone.
Believing that by given time, I can heal,
Is a strength only I can achieve to release,
For time is granted by each morn I awaken.

Looking out my window, as I often do,
I look up to grasp on to nature's light,
Hearing the birds as they chirp softly,
While the breeze is strolling, so am I.

Seeing beauty is not a complex thing to do.
Wherever I look, thanking God I can see,
I feel His creations, no matter how far,
And pray for all who are powerless to.

I have doubts, like many people do.
Should they seek to overpower me,
I open my eyes wider to see finer again,
Allowing visions to reappear clearly to me.

Thankful am I for control bestowed upon me.
Should I ever sorrow and weaken again,
I will allow my gift to open wide anew,
For that is a force only I can control.
