Regret
As I sit here and dream of you,
I close my eyes and think
Of all the love I thought was true
And stand on madness' brink
Why did I ever have to look
Upon your lovely face?
Oh, why was I caught on your hook,
Your figure, full of grace
For as we know we all fear death
So we should know as well
For broken hearts, that loves sweet breath
Becomes a living hell.
Unwillingly, I fell in love
You did not bear me through
Away you flew, just like a dove
Taking my heart with you
