Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

A Real Indian

A real Indian is not
Dark skin, copper skin.

A real Indian is not
Long brown braids.

A real Indian is not
Ebony eyes, dark eyes.

A real Indian is not
A stern face, stoic face.

A real Indian is not
About percentage of blood.

A real Indian is
Deep culture.

A real Indian is
Tears that have freedom.

A real Indian is
Feathers and respect.

A real Indian is
A love of heritage.

A real Indian is
The culture, what's inside, not outside.

*Some who've actually seen what I look like (those few) know that I don't look like an indian. But it's not about looks, it's about what's on the inside.
