Sitting In The Dark
Here we are
watching television,
the lights flicker
off and on.
All of a sudden,
there's complete darkness,
we get the flashlight
and light the candles.
The kids are
wondering what
they should do,
sitting on the floor,
getting ready to tell
a ghost story.
They are getting fidgity,
they wonder when
the lights are
going to come back on.
