A Promising Future

Jeremiah 29:11

God knows the plans that He has for you,
Plans for good, not for evil that are true;
Ensuring you a great future and to dream,
Making your life better than it may seem.
Some paint a picture of gloom and doom,
But I don't like for myself ever to assume;
Believe in the future that it will be great,
In the anticipation that you can not wait;
That is because of a faith that is strong,
And those obstacles will never live long;
In our lives, we have all had some setback,
Causing your troubles to pile up on a stack;
You just did not know which way to turn,
Looking for relief what you tried to yearn;
Then with being so far deep into sorrow,
Not thinking about any hope for tomorrow;
That's when we're in the midst of despair,
We tend to forget of asking God in prayer;
God ensures you will continue to survive,
A future holds promise that you'll thrive.
