the heavens above could fall on his head still
he would never understand,
the fear that grips my heart,
the longing of my soul to find the
happiness i have never known,
where is my oasis from all the cares of this life,
far on a distant shore awaiting my final farewell,
Dear Heavenly Father give my the strength and wisdom
i need to easy my weary brow,
through you all things are possible
nothing can within stand you,
not even the fear that has imprisoned me here,
Lord, give direction to my meaningless life,
put my feet upon solid ground and let my heart love again.....
