Ren's Pen

Through God's Eyes

Through God's Eyes

We see one another through fleshly eyes,
We see others sins, mistakes, and lies,
Sometimes it is hard to even forgive,
And allow others freedom to live.

What if we looked beyond ourselves,
Laid our differences upon the shelves,
Looking past all the hurts and pains,
Past all the thoughts in our brains.

No longer would we see flesh and blood,
Only a heart desiring to be loved,
What would it take to look past the betrayal,
Past all the times we have fallen and failed.

When we see past the flesh and bone,
Then will our voices have a different tone,
How could we do this or even try?
When we began to look through God's eyes.
