Sunshine so brightly it hurts your eyes,
Fluffy clouds skirt the bluest skies,
Last night's rain still faint in the air,
Leaves flutter to earth, yes fall is near.
A soft breeze blows---what's that I see?
Gentle wings “swing” colors so brilliantly,
Orange and Black and Heavenly brown,
Amongst the leaves that are drifting down.
“Monarch Butterflies!!” --a dozen or maybe a score,
