A couple of days ago, someone sent me a message over a pencil drawing. I know you have seen it...a Smiling Jesus, holding a infant just a few months old....and I got to thinking. Wouldn't we all like to be held in the Lord's Embrace?---Haven't we all had moments when we are so lost, so troubled, so hurt, so alone that being wrapped in Jesus' Warm Embrace wouldn't cure???
Whether you are just a few months old...
Or twelve...
or twenty-two...
or sixty-two or ninety-two...
In The Arms of My Savior
My soul rejoices--Yes that's me,
held in the Arms of My Savior !!!
To know that whatever
Life may employ
My soul is not in any danger.
He is quick to forgive,
and quick to forget,
all the mistakes I have made in the past.
Repenting my sins, I am sorry, and yet,
My sinful resolve will not last.
But my Savior is there
Every step of the way,
Guiding me, leading me on.
Like the child that you see
Gleefully laughing with Him,
Jesus will safely lead the way Home.
