The ones that were forgot.

If it was asked of you…
“What is it that you want?”
…Without greed and wanton desire.
Would you answer…nothing?
But to hold the hand of the one I love…
And know that is my desire.

If it was asked of you…
“What is it that you want”?
Would you answer simply... happiness
For every waking soul…
And the pain that was their yesterday…
Be a sadness never known.
Would you ask for real compassion?
And all compassion brings…
To look into a Childs eyes…
While his heart still knows to sing.

Would you want to end all bloodshed?
End wars and all war sews.
Would you want to end all misery?
That so many of us know.
If it was asked of you…
“What is it that you want”?
Stop to think of others?
The ones that were forgot.
