A New Woman

age ain't nothing, but a number

written at 17 years old 2004

i look up to my parents very much
As they help me learn
Age is nothing
It's just a number
Of years
Mentally we think age is important, but it's not
If you really love somebody do not let age stop you
Why let two numbers get in the way?
but everyone thinks it does get in the way
No nothing can get in the way of love
My mom and my dad had a whopping 26 years between them
They got on well and were in love with love and had six wonderful and beautiful children so i have been told ha ha
Now i never listen to my friends
I am married to a man twelve years older than me and i love him
Age ain't nothing, but a number never let age get in the way
