RAINY DAY
Raindrops fall upon my head,
I wish the sun were out instead,
Clothes dripping soaked right through,
Can I not be at home with you?
Skies are grey rain still falls,
My head is cold it is not warm,
I should be there with you in bed,
But here I am all wet instead.
I’d like to have a cup of tea,
Warm me up unfreeze my knees,
But till my work is did and done,
I’ll have to stay it is not fun.
When I come home my dear I’ll need,
A nice warm bath and cup of tea,
Then when my body warms back up,
I’ll hold you close for you’re my love.
