Life has a way of dealing us all
some pretty tough cards to play.
Some days it just doesn't seem
worth the effort,
but then ...
You gaze into the eyes of
your chosen partner in life
or those of your children
and or grandchildren
your friends
That is when you know ...
Yes, Life is a beautiful ride.
It is not what cards that are dealt
to us in life that matters ...
it is how we play them that counts.
We have two options ...
We can either fold
and walk from the table
(which should never be an option)
or make the best
of the cards we do hold.
Faith in God
Faith in Self
Love of Family
Love of Friends
And always
that one wild card
So play your hand wisely,
don't let hard times
get you down, trust that
God will put you where you
are most needed and
You'll Be Just Fine
We'll be just fine.
