Petals In The Grass

Lonesome Night

Darkened is the sky
Deserted by the light
Ends the day
Bringing pessimistic thoughts
Unending coal
The moon absent of it's grandeur
Only silent black marble
Devours the sky
Standing in the night
A solitary presence
Morose memories come to greet
