The Peaceful Dawn

Up before the dawn
So quiet and clear
The early bird's song
In the tree you can hear
The sun begins to creep
It's luminous light
A very special feeling
Ending of the night
Glistening drops of dew
That lay on the grass
Wanting to hold this feeling
Wishing it would last
The moment has to end
Having to start my day
Hoping sometime later
I can still feel this way
