Baby Pictures
Click, click
goes the camera,
the light from the flashbulb
blinds the eyes.
Pictures of the first smiles,
memories of the first steps,
laughter of the funny faces.
A big collection
of pictures....
being put into a book,
looking back on the
fondest of memories.
The one thing
that makes me sad
is the pictures that didn't
turn out when you
were a baby.
You were just a newborn,
being cuddled in
mommy and daddy's loving arms,
I look back and
sadness dwells within my heart.
Our last born baby
an infant being loved
the pictures didn't trun out,
I made up for all that
and made sure,
I had a new camera
with me at all times.
I am still overwhelmed
with sadness about
the first baby pictures,
that never turned out.
