Reflections of My Heart
Email Poem | Today's Poetry

 Why    ღ KKD ღ

Why is it my blood that you lust for
What is it that I did
How can a heart so cold and black
still sustain a body

Why is it my blood that you lust for
Was the taste just to sweet to resist
Was the innocence something you
had to crush

Why is it my blood that you lust for
with your lies and evil deeds
with your daily torture
do you not think that you
will stand before God
and have to give these answers

God can you not see
Do you not hear my cries
The knot in my rope is gone
the ends are frayed and bloody
Why was I brought to this place of evil
Hell surely could not contain any more
than this place I have to go day after day
Why is it my blood that they lust for
