How do I convey to you the
difference between want and need
Wants are not needs how
can I cultivate this planted seed
The want of excitement and passion
is an integral part
but holding and tenderness
is the true longing of this heart
You must first caress
my mind and emotions
before the passion of this body
can be put in motion
My needs are not for you
to fight my pain
I only need for you to kiss
and hold me until I can regain
While hearing I love you
pass from you lips
It is like a glass of water that I need
to gulp and you only allow sips
It is so important to know thru
action the multitude of your love
and that no other will
you place above
My wants aren't many
my unfilled needs leave sorrow
