Ren's Pen
What if Tomorrow Never Comes?
What if Tomorrow Never Comes?
A business man works late hours every night,
Seems only a moment before it is daylight,
He never has time to be a husband or a dad,
He does not know it makes his family sad.
The Pastor calls him, and asks him did you pray?
No, I am sorry, I will do that later on, today,
You can't fight God and do this all alone,
He says, I know, pastor, and hangs up the telephone.
He no longer goes to church with them anymore,
His children soon will spread their wings to soar,
Many precious years he wasted to make deals,
Not knowing how his family really feels.
All he thinks about is working the next day,
Without even taking time to bow and pray,
Life for him just passing by and by,
Never hearing his family at night, cry.
Today, it will be to late for his wake up call,
Soon he will regret not having Jesus, at all,
Never thought about what this life brings,
The love for money and worldly things.
As he drives home on the long highway,
He did not see the bridge by the bay,
His life begans to flash before his very eyes,
Never thinking of what happens to his soul when he dies.
He remembers his wife and what the pastor had said,
Knowing within seconds he would be dead,
He never took time to accept God's Son,
Never gave it a thought, what if tomorrow never comes?
