 The Unfairness Of Angels

dreamweavertheunfairnessofangels
Queen of ‘E'ngland

Within our bed of silken sheets
I look at my queen as she sleeps
Thou can't envisage a dawn without my queen
Like forests of evergreen
Pale is her skin that mirrors the moon
A second without her is a minute to soon
The Moat that surrounds our castle walls
Is of crystal blue and waterfalls
The tranquil sounds of water at sunset
Reminds me of the time we first met
I was on a quest, to a land I never knew
In a place where great oaks grew
Within a clearing of a pure finesse
I saw a woman who surely was a princess
She was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen
My heart and soul told me she was my queen
She sat upon a fallen tree
When she looked up and saw me
Long black hair fell down to her knees
I said, “May I sit beside you please?”
“Of course brave knight be my guest”
“Does my lord need a place to rest?”
She sat behind me on my steed
And took me to her castle to feed
I did not sleep in her chamber that night
I am a prince of virtue, it would not be right
The next day when I was about to go
She begged me to take her with me, she wouldn't take ‘no'
Her betrothed was a pig of fool
I knew the knights code, and I knew I was breaking no rule
Her naked body is entangled in my embrace
As I look down and kiss her beautiful face
Her heart beats into mine
As I look down at my queen and remember that time
I hold her tight, never letting go
Remembering the time, those years ago.
