Dreams upon the wind
and a breath can make them real
Colors of imagination
in waters mist they swirl
A note upon a birds wing
will bring music to your ears
And a smile can make the clouds run
with sunshine on its heals
A sparkle within the eyes of children
find wonder where none was before
A dark room becomes adventure
searching for treasure by the score
A piece of chalk works magic
in the picture that it brings
One can be of Summer
the other what winter sings
The majesty of imagination
and the flexibility of the young
Find new things in the old
that can hide even under the sun
And the adventure is never ending
for in life we learn and seek
For when we learn not one more thing
we enter eternal sleep.
