THAT WAS NOW

V-1
THAT WAS NOW,
DON'T GET DOWN,
A TEAR TO FALL,
A NAME TO CALL,
A MOMENT A MINUTE AGO,
NOW, A MEMORY TO KNOW,
JUST A PEEP,
WHAT TO KEEP?

CHORUS
THAT WAS NOW,
THAT LIVED SOMEHOW,
TO SEE, TO HOLD,
TO SOMEDAY BE TOLD.

V-2
HOW FAST, NOW BECOMES THEN,
WILL IT LIVE AGAIN AND AGAIN?
NOW CAN BE NO MORE,
ALREADY OUT THE DOOR.
NOW NEVER DOES LAST,
FOR SOON IT IS THE PAST.

CHORUS
THAT WAS NOW,
THAT LIVED SOMEHOW,
TO SEE, TO HOLD,
TO SOMEDAY BE TOLD.

BRIDGE
NOW, NO LOOK NOW,
IT WON'T BE FOUND.

V-3
YES, NOW WAS THE TIME.
THAT WE CROSSED THAT LINE.
WHERE IT IS TOMORROW,
AS THE PAST SHARES NOW'S SORROW?

CHORUS
THAT WAS NOW,
THAT LIVED SOMEHOW,
TO SEE, TO HOLD,
TO SOMEDAY BE TOLD.

TO SEE, TO HOLD,
TO SOMEDAY BE TOLD.
