Sight...

Oh! How we take everything for granite.
.The air we breath, the food we eat,
the water we drink.
Waking, talking, and sight.

Seeing, seeing, seeing….
The trees in their spring suit of leaves.
Birds in their brightly colored feathered  coats.
Butterflies with their painted wings.

The majestic mountains posed high in the copper sky.
Shimmering  lakes reflecting the puffy white
clouds as they slowly drift by.
The rain, the snow, the sun’s bright glow.
Seeing… makes life a joy, everything’s
in color like a bright shiny toy.

The golden sun by day,
the bright stars twinkling
in God’s blue heaven by
night.

Above all…
Seeing the beautiful faces
of our love ones too.
Sight…what a marvel,
what a blessing, what a
heaven sent delight.
