To sounds unheard,
Fleeing like a bird.

Be still my heart,
Let silence depart,
As night falls with fright,
Awaiting dawn's new delight.

Awakened, eyes still shut,
Senseless and with no gut,
Rays of light upon my face,
I dare not erase!

Another day in time,
Passing by like a chime,
Tunnels filled with thought,
Visions cannot be fought.
