Reminder
You know I think it's become clear
they I need to step away
for my own sake, I can't take it anymore
I know it's a decision I must make
you can't close in on me, my soul you can no longer take
for too long I let you have the power
each time I came back I thought you had changed
well I am the idiot if I stay
see the same old song plays
and I know the words by heart
sometimes I sing along
but this time I fall silent on the intro
I release you to all your demons
because I know now you need more than I can give
I can't help you, you can't help someone who don't want to change
who places all the blame on everyone else's head
the reminder to move on is just a blink away
it's in that place called the past
where all your good intentions never did last....
