Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
To have reason to shine
As simple as it sounds, I grasped onto your love,
To let it wither in my arms,
Rather than to rot in my heart.
Perhaps I am a bad person, an ugly person
With an ugly heart but as long
As the sun has reason to shine, then I shall too.
Everyday is another group of hours
Of me sitting around watching the weather change and
Silently hoping for the best, yet getting the worst.
It's always bad on this side of the mirror,
It's always terrible on this side of the spectrum.
It always sucks, but while I may be
Lacking the knowledge of general things,
I know that I flourished with your love and I fear
The day you somberly walk away,
Taking your beautiful eyes and love with you.
