They plant kisses on each other lips
Under the setting sun in the horizon
Love flowing from their satin eyes
From the broad shoulders, from long limbs
Engulfs the street, the park, the river bank
Shadows lengthen on the green lawn
The Mother Nature unfolds mystery
The bond they share just growing...
How I wish to find a way to shine
Under their glowing shelter
How I wish to reach out to their
Magical yet unreachable premises
How I wish to dance with them
In the twilight hour
How I wish to offer myself
To shower blessing on their precious lives.
Nothing happens as I presume
Looking for warmth, for restoration
I perspire in the dark
A modicum of long lasting fear
The duo fades into my grey cell
Emptiness envelops my soul
Immobile and impaired I can not rise
From the dust of my history.
