The Bomb Stopped It's Ticking!

All this time I've been a ticking bomb, a mess,
But to look at me, you'd never guess!
For all this time this smashing fella I know,
Kept telling me; ‘Cath, this problem will go!'

I've 100% faith and more in him!
And together, between us this trial I'll win!
Never a looser, never will I concede!
The strength inside me is all I need!

He thinks I'm a star, so he said to me,
But trust me true, he's the only star I see!
He's the one with the magic touch and much more,
Because he knows me well, he knows the score!

An era's almost over - I'm almost through a new door,
For as from today, the bomb ticks no more!
All I ever wanted was a little peace in my life,
Instead of all the fears, pain and strife!

So from the 19th, one April afternoon,
All will be resolved, and it's going to be soon!
So roll on tomorrow, I hope it passes quick!
For I have to be honest, I'm worried sick!

And no, I'm not all that they of me!
I'm not as brave as they think, I'm scared you see.
But I know when it's over I'll be happy and bright,
And I'll have no more horrific nightmares at night!

...The Epilogue...

The 19th of April, has come to pass at last,
And yes, now my nightmares are a thing of the past!
The operation successful, and oh glory be!
I am as happy as a puppy, I survived you see!

Now I can move on into the future bright,
And rid those nightmares that gave me a fright!
No living in dread, no more living in fear,
Because the horror is over, my mind is now clear!

For now at last - that part of my life has gone,
I did it again, I did…I finally won!!!!

...We Did It, Adrian And I…
