"I'D WANT YOU IN CONTROL"
LORD, IF I COULD SEE THE FUTURE,
SLOWLY UNFOLDING BEFORE MY EYES;
WITH THE ABILITY TO CHANGE THINGS,
EACH AND EVERY NEW SUNRISE.
WOULD I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO,
TO MAKE THINGS WORK OUT RIGHT;
OR WOULD I STILL BE PUZZLED,
MORNING, NOON AND NIGHT?
I KNOW THAT I'D NEED YOU,
TO HELP AND GUIDE MY WAY;
WITH SO MANY DECISIONS,
AND MY THOUGHTS...IN DIS-ARRAY!
I WOULDN'T KNOW THE BEST WAY,
TO ORGANIZE MY LIFE, YOU SEE...
I DO HAVE WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE,
BUT NOT NEAR AS MUCH AS THEE.
NO MATTER WHAT THE INSTANCE,
I'D WANT YOU IN CONTROL......
WATCHING OUT FOR DEADLY SNARES,
PROTECTING ME, BODY AND SOUL!
