It is Spring; the vernal equinox has come
And it has gone--so has my male friend!
Now my heart longs for Indiana and its
REAL oak trees, south of South Bend.
An Indiana Spring can easily make all
The senses thrill--lovely sweet lilac--
Memories of those fragrant blossoms
Makes me long and long to be BACK!
Yes, back in Indiana is where I long to
See many of my cousins and old friends,
When I cross the Ohio to arrive in my
Indiana my low spirit rapidly ascends!
