Jesus Saved My Life, Tonight

When I think back about those sad lonely nights,
The curtains all drawn and turning out the lights,
No one understands unless they have been there,
Sitting like an unborn child in my rocking chair,
Whatever it takes to not hear the voices anymore,
Have we all gone crazy lately, or is it just me?
Lying down in defeat doubting all possiblities to be free.

Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight,
Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight.

Satan had his hooks in me, my life filled with fear,
He had me in bondage, roped and tied,
Hell-bound and traumatized.
Sweet Holy Spirit whispered in my ear,
Jesus is the way, Jesus is the way,
Come, this way, Come and say bye to your old life.

Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight,
Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight.

I never realized God's glory and power,
No more nights of endless dreams,
And being choked by each terrifying scene,
I have been redeemed by the King of kings.
It's three o'clock in the morning,
Love shining in through me, God is so good,
I'm sleeping with angels tonight,
Saved by grace, thank God, I am still alive.

Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight,
Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight.

He who walked on the waters and calmed the waves,
Releasing all my shackles and chains,
Paying for my freedom forever,
As lightning shineth He is coming to take me home.

Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight,
Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight,
Jesus saved, Jesus saved, Jesus saved my life, tonight,
No longer am I alone, No longer am I alone.
