God is my hiding place for preventing fear,
Helping my understanding to be more clear;
He instructs and teaches the way for to go,
He guides me to where the righteous flow;
Never to be as a horse with bridle and bit,
Rather being able to think as I will see fit.
God is our refuge as to weather the storm,
He comforts us from trouble in any form;
Life can be tough from all the uncertainty,
My own life there has been no guarantee,
That is the reason every time that I pray,
I always ask for His advise in every way;
For He instructs me according to His plan,
As He shows the direction I should span;
But He did not create mind-numb robots,
To be led with none of their own thoughts;
As with a horse He will lead us to drink,
But totally up to us if we swim or sink;
Rest assured He will not let us drown,
Just ask to make a smile out of a frown.
