The bite of morning in the cold crisp air
a song of sparrows upon the breeze
A lazy cloud dances in the sky
upon the dew drops on the leaves
A faint touch of sunlight
that kisses the dawn awake
With the first sharp breath taken
show us life is not a mistake
A tranquil silence upon Nature's song
in special greeting every day
Reminding us of Nature's mystery
that watches us while we play
Be kind to the world we live on
give respect with each footstep we take
For the abuse we give to the planet
may one day be Humanity's wake
For monsters lurk in negligence
with death knocking at our door
Healing may not be an option
with Humanity not finding the door
So closed in our coffin of choosing
Planetcide we did commit
And wonder where we turned away
from Nature's true love of it.
