Visions Of The Future!

I had visions of the future,
And what a world I could see,
Peace happiness and health,
Is what I saw for me!
Well, I admit it, I was wrong,
For as I began to grow,
Me health went west, not at me best,
It was just one ruddy blow.

But never mind, no worries,
For me brain is not too bad,
And for now me hands are…so, so,
But if they go I will be sad.
For there'll be no more poems,
No skits and laughs galore,
For on the page, I'm not three bad,
And I really know the score.

You know…I used to be so fit,
And slim…like Popeye's' Olive Oil,
But me body got sick, and I grew thick,
And blew up like a boil.
So now I sit at me computer,
And dream of being thin,
And be sure, it's not a dream,
Cos I'm determined I will win.

Yes, I shall prevail,
And continue to eat to slim,
And with the help of  a slimming plan,
I'm positive I shall win!
I'm not one to give up lightly,
And with the help that's promised to me,
I'll yet be the slimming champion,
Just you wait and see!
