No Going Back…Sometimes in life things are easy, And other times they are not, But that's the course of life you know, We have to make do with what we've got! When things happen in our lives, Sometimes they can alter… But sadly sometimes there's no going back, As through life we falter. When damage occurs as it will, And that damage can't be mended, That's when we need support, And when peace we need to befriend it! No matter how much we desire it, And no matter how it will pain, Sometimes there's no going back, Sometimes there's nothing to gain! Things that are said and done, Are sometimes not nice at all, Hurtful words, heartless actions, And someone then takes a fall! The fall is great there's no going back, For forgiveness is so out of sight, Hurt too deep, a gaping wound… And you're plunged into the dark of night! Why do they do it, what do they gain?
