Blessings...To All Gods' Helpers This Day

I dedicate this poem to all the women in my life that has brought me joy including fellow poets/email buddies :-)



Mothers Day should be everyday throughout the year,
For Mothers never take a break from holding their children dear.
Even if at times,our children may tend to disappoint,
Always upon seeing them ,we still feel with so much pride and joy!
A mothers love is unconditional,and mistakes we've made too,
Yet the love for our children will forever shine through.
Some are able to celebrate this day with their Mom close  by,
While some of us have to look to the heavenly sky...
Whenever saying I love you,or greetings on a holiday.
So while you are so lucky to embrace your Mom...
If possible...be home for her this day,
For tomorrow is not always promised to come.
Deep in childrens hearts,you know God would want it this way.
Happy Mothers day to all the Mothers,Aunties,Grandmas,and even if not related the ones that have nurtured and taken children in.
For we are all Gods helpers in caring for and comforting.
A sweet whisper to my Mama for the love she always gave,
She still watches over me upon high from the heavens' gate.
Although on holidays your presence is always felt,
I look forward to be able to embrace you again...
Oh what joy it will bring!
