How Do You Know?

Kids

At times,
I wish I could
turn back the hands of time....
back to when my kids were babies.

I loved them
when they were infants,
I could cradle them
in my arms,
I could watch them play
with their feet,
sit and let them discover
the unknown world around them.

Now that they are older
things just seem so wrong,
they fight and argue with eachother,
they mouth back,
they do things....
they know that are wrong.

Why do I have to suffer
with so much pain and anguish?

I am saddened
with all that surrounds me.
