Creating a Clean Heart

Psalm 51:10-12

Create in me a clean heart O Lord as I pray,
And renew a right spirit within me this day;
Cast me not out away from your presence,
Prevent your Holy Spirit from my absence;
Restore unto me the joy of your salvation,
Strengthen me through this supplication.
Our hearts and minds extremely dirty,
Because of living in thoughts so earthy;
Always in a rush just no time that is free,
Pressure builds and feeling so stressfully;
This world we live moves at a fast pace,
No desire of talking to God face to face;
So wrapped up what are you going to do,
When Almighty God comes down on you;
Before it is too late you need to repent,
Of all wrongdoings regardless of intent;
Ask forgiveness and cleanse your thoughts,
Purge yourself all those schemes and plots;
Of the Holy Spirit give you a new attitude,
In praising God with a sincere gratitude.
