Glimmer
I wouldn't need the shining stars
To light my sky at night
I wouldn't need the moon in its perch
With its ever luminous light
I wouldn't need the warmth of the sun
To warm my body as it was cold
I wouldn't need a seekers gaze
To peer into my very soul
I wouldn't need the hottest flame
To melt me with desire
I wouldn't need feathered wings
If I longed to soar even higher
I wouldn't need a soft caress
To embrace away my cries
The only thing that I would need
Is to look into your eyes....
