Deceptive GoalsProverbs 23:5-7 You set your eyes upon that, which is not, Reaching out in greed is what you sought; For riches certainly in making your wings, To fly as an eagle toward heavenly things; Eat not the bread of him with an evil eye, Neither want meat from this deceitful guy; As he thinks in his heart the same of him, He says to eat but thoughts of an antonym. A book by its cover for you can not judge, Perfected shells do hide the inner smudge; A wolf in sheep's clothing is their style, Able to cut your throat while with a smile; A tendency to set goals being out of sight, Can make your life stressful and uptight; Anyone that might be standing in the way, Will find themselves to be just open prey; Consider others before reaching too high, The wings you make may not let you fly; Looking onto God as you set your dream, Ensuring your idea matches His scheme.
