Living Crosses

Acts 10:38 & 39

God anointed Christ with the Holy Spirit,
As well as all of the power He did inherit;
Who went about preaching and doing well,
Healing all of the oppression up from Hell;
For God was with Him throughout His life,
As we witness Him freeing others of strife;
Then slain by them for to be hung on a tree,
For the redemption of sins for you and me.
Interesting saying tree instead of a cross,
Since a tree gives life and not make a loss;
For a tree is actually as a symbol of power,
As with a giant California red woods tower;
Trees are a symbol of new life or new birth,
Strengthening the land surface of the earth;
Seeking water deep underground by its root,
Able to give us shade as well as bear fruit;
A tree instead of a cross a good reminder,
A new and eternal life that God will render;
On the condition we acknowledge the debt,
All our sinful deeds in needing to regret.
