My Jamie,This Poem is for you!

Today we spoke on the phone,
we talked for an hour or so...
The sound of your voice
just makes my heart soar.
You are my funny lil' clown
that always makes me laugh,
I'm really not sure where
you get your humor at?
You are like my very own child,
I love and adore the time you set aside;
Just to talk with me on the phone,
when God knows there are other things
that need attending to more.
You have always loved clowns and Now I know why...
You sometimes feel sad
and may be crying inside,
Yet you put on your lil' funny face
that portrays all to be,
Just a silly lil' clown....
my happy go lucky Jamie.
Whether you are happy
or a situation makes you sad;
Always know I am just around the corner
or a phone call away,
This has been my promise to you
since years ago ...
when God arranged our meeting day.
God Bless you my lil' sweetheart
for the love you extend,
You are not only like a daughter,
but a very precious friend.
