Words of Life, Love and Praise
The eyes of Van Gogh
As I take in your world, the pain there is overwhelming.
I wonder what you were thinking as you laid color to the canvas-
What had this place held for you then?
They say you went mad before you met your end,
I see sorrow in your lines and try to understand your eyes,
oh, those eyes...crying out in silence for an eternity to see,
leaving my emotions in a huddled mass beneath your canvas.
