Drug stories

From the gay crack head injecting crack into his penis
Even though he doesn't get paid for that intravenous
The 18yr old homeless girl living with a punter with greying hair
Just hoping that the price is fare
The 40yr old first timer on the brown
Stole for a fix, and now he's going down
The beaten housewife
Whose pops pills to forget her violent life
The crack house landlords
Who conduct a business from under the floorboards
The single mother whose babies are addicted to heroin
The young child with aids from a abandoned needle in the bin
The homeless, the working and middle class, anyone
The young boy that get paid in crack for a sex up the bum
The ex prisoners, just let out the nick
With a new heroin habit
Can't afford real life's prices
And soon end up homeless in a crisis
The men and woman, boys and girls wanting to go straight
But another pill, shot, smoke of the pipe and it's all too late
All the things they might have been
Living out another daydream
Seeing hope at the bottom of a bottle of morphine

all these stories from the time i worked at a drugs project in London
