Starting out the Day RightMark 1:35 In the morning before the dawning of day, Find a secluded place and begin to pray; Thank the Lord for a very restful night, And making everything great and alright; Thank Him for the blessings that unfold, And helping you across life's threshold; Family and friends give special thanks, And those who are serving at all ranks; After giving thanks you are grateful for, Also for your enemies that you deplore; For God to open their heart to let in light, Ending any animosity that they despite; Ask Him to guide you the day throughout, In shedding all of your fears and doubt; Remaining safe traveling out and back, Keeping lust to cause straying off track; Once you have finished you are assured, God and His blessings will be out poured; In having Him in your life for to command, You can rest assured of His guiding hand.
