Death
Something we must all face
Whether accident
Or intentional, with feelings of disgrace
Expected or Not
It is never easy to say Good-Bye
Some can let go
Some for years they cry
Death
Is our greatest fear
We don't ever dream of losing ones
That we love so very dear
Our children, Our parents
Like rare precious gems
Our brothers, Our sisters
How could we go on without them
Death
Hard for us to cope
Some turn to alcohol
Some turn to dope
When you lose someone
Who's close to your heart
Try to be strong
Don't let it tear you apart
Drugs are not the answer
And don't hold it inside
Give yourself time to mourn
And just breakdown and cry
I have seen to many people just give up when they lose someone. I am one of those people, It is something we must all face at some point in our lives. My brother is in Iraq and it has only been a couple of days and I am in constant fear that I will lose him, I am trying to prepare myself for the worse. I write to relieve some of my pain, I hope this writing makes sense to you who read it and thanks for taking the time to visit. And please say a prayer for our soldiers and civilian officers overseas.
